A Letter to the Single Mom

Dear Single Mom,

We see you, and we want you know that you are not alone!

Navigating this new stage of life as a single mother is one of the toughest roads you’ll ever have to travel - and you are doing it. You are showing up for your children and for yourself each and every day and that is truly something to be proud of.

We want to remind you that your worth should never be tied to the success of your marriage, and it is important to remember that right now. If you are feeling down, surrounded by feelings of doubt and insecurity, take a few moments to check in with yourself, take a few deep breaths, and remember that your worth cannot be taken away from you. Each morning you wake up is an opportunity to move forward and create a beautiful life for yourself and your family.

We understand how overwhelming new challenges can be, especially ones as monumental as adjusting to single-parenthood. We want you to know that no matter what, you are not alone. Reach out for help when needed; there is a supportive community of single parents out there who understand what you’re going through. Whether it’s through counselling services or an online support group, do not be afraid to find your village when it feels like the world is against you.

Stay strong and follow your intuition; your life may have changed drastically but from here on out, you have unconditional responsibility over your life. You have the power to first take care of your own needs and then help shape the lives of those around you.

You are valuable, you are capable, and you are brave (re-read this again...and write it down so you don't forget it!) Believe in yourself and watch everything begin to unfold - because where you are today is not where you will remain.

xoxo,

Liz & Kelly (Untamed Soul Collective)

As Liz walked through her recent divorce/healing journey, she was inspired to create a workbook for women who were ready to live and breathe the life they deserve.

Collaborating with Kelly (and her Master’s in Counseling), we also knew that setting priorities in life and finding out what our core values are is missing in so many women/moms.

Let’s break out of the patterns and habits that have kept us from realizing our fullest potential.

Let’s embrace our inner strength and courage (which you will find through this workbook) and create powerful opportunities for growth and transformation.
